Benz24 DE Review

Benz24 DE Review: A German Online Building Materials Shop for Serious DIY Projects

Benz24 DE is a German online building materials retailer (Baustoffe) that sells roof windows, fencing, flooring, insulation, drainage products, tools, and more through benz24.de. It positions itself as an online Baustoffhandel for building and renovating homes, with an emphasis on competitive pricing versus traditional DIY stores.

The range is broad and project-oriented: roof windows and accessories, roof tiles, insulation, rain water systems, terrace decking, double rod fencing, tiles, drywall, interior doors, exterior doors, windows, roller shutters, basement drainage, masonry, paint, and workwear-style tools and site equipment.

It also runs its own Wellker own-brand line for selected categories such as roof windows, fencing, and flooring, alongside established manufacturers. Pricing is in euros including German VAT, with shipping costs added where applicable.

Verdict

Benz24 DE is a credible option if you are planning a larger DIY or renovation project in Germany and want building materials delivered rather than hauled from a local store. The catalog covers the full shell-to-finish journey, and the company presents transparent pricing and a stated returns window that is longer than the statutory minimum for private customers.

The main trade-offs are shipping costs on bulky items, the practical reality of returning heavy goods, and the fact that some product decisions still need local advice. For the right project and the right buyer, Benz24 DE is worth a serious look. For small one-off purchases or urgent pickups, a local store may still win on convenience.

What Benz24 DE Is

Benz24 DE is an online building materials merchant operating at benz24.de. It describes itself as an online Baustoffhandel and targets both private renovators and trade or municipal buyers.

The catalog is organized around build stages and project areas:

• Roof: roof windows, roof covering, roof insulation, roof system parts
• Garden and yard: rain water systems, terraces, fencing, driveways
• Interior finishing: flooring, tiles and installation, drywall, interior doors
• Shell and facade: windows and roller shutters, basement, house drainage, masonry
• Tools: hand tools, site supplies, workshop setup, fasteners
• More: insulation, WPC, mortar, paint

The site sells branded products alongside its Wellker own brand and a BENZ PROFESSIONAL line for trade-oriented products such as silicate wall paint. It also offers sample deliveries and partner contacts through the customer account.

What Makes Benz24 DE Different

Three things stand out against typical German building material sellers:

First, a single online store that spans shell construction, roofing, garden, interior finishing, and tools. Many competitors specialize in one of those areas, so buying across categories in one order is a practical advantage for renovation projects.

Second, an own brand with real depth. Wellker covers roof windows made by Roto, fencing, and rigid SPC vinyl flooring, which gives Benz24 DE control over pricing and availability in high-volume categories.

Third, a customer account model called BENZPlus that is optional and free. It bundles vouchers, order and invoice management, a named contact, sample delivery, and a 30-day return right for private customers instead of 14 days. That combination is unusual for a building materials retailer.

Scoring

Range and depth: 4.5 / 5.0 - Roof, garden, interior, shell, and tools in one place, with own-brand coverage.

Pricing and promotions: 4.5 / 5.0 - Explicit positioning as usually cheaper than DIY stores, plus recurring discount campaigns.

Shipping and pickup: 4.0 / 5.0 - Pallet logistics from 24.95 EUR and free Click and Collect at Hockenheim, but cost and effort rise with bulky goods.

Returns policy: 4.5 / 5.0 - 14 days standard, 30 days for private customers with a customer account under the stated terms.

Review credibility: 4.5 / 5.0 - Only verified buyers get a review link, and reviews are checked before they go live.

Overall: 4.4 / 5.0 - A serious online option for planned building and renovation work in Germany.

Review Method

This review is based on publicly available information on benz24.de at the time of writing, including category structure, product listings, pricing and shipping notes, the customer account description, return policy statements, and published customer feedback.

We did not visit the Hockenheim warehouse, did not test products, and did not place an order. Ratings reflect the clarity of information, breadth of range, pricing positioning, shipping and pickup options, returns terms, and the credibility signals the site presents, including its verified-buyer review process.

Buying Advice

Plan the full material list before ordering. Bez24 DE is strongest when you buy a project’s materials together, because that reduces repeated shipping costs and lets you use value thresholds such as the stated 399 EUR coupon condition for a first order.

Create the customer account before checkout if you are a private customer. It is free, and it is the route to the 30-day return right, vouchers, order and invoice tracking, and sample delivery offers.

Check promotions directly on the site rather than relying on screenshots or outdated posts. Discount percentages and stock change during campaigns.

Compare total cost, not just item price. Add shipping, check whether Click and Collect at Hockenheim is realistic for you, and confirm the return conditions on the specific product before committing.

Final Verdict

Benz24 DE earns a 4.4 / 5.0 overall as a German online building materials retailer. Its main strengths are a broad project-oriented catalog, an established own brand, aggressive pricing positioning, and a customer account that improves returns and savings for private buyers.

Its main weaknesses are the logistics of bulky goods and the limits of buying building materials without local, in-person advice. If you are running a planned renovation in Germany and want materials delivered, Benz24 DE deserves a place on your shortlist. If you need speed or hands-on guidance, use it selectively or stick with a local supplier.
